Tracking Brendon

Brendon Todd is currently a PGA Tour professional golfer who won the HP Byron Nelson Championship in Irving, Texas on May 18th of 2014. Brendon is currently ranked 59th in FedEx points for the 2015 season and has moved up to 51st in the Official World Golf Rankings. Brendon already has five Top 25 finishes this season along with two Top 10’s after ten starts. He is wearing the Cadista logo during his play this season.

History

Brendon was born in Pittsburgh, PA on July 22nd, 1985 and grew up in Cary, NC (Green Hope High School) and currently resides in Atlanta, GA with his wife Rachel. Mr. Todd attended the University of Georgia on a golf scholarship and graduated with a degree in Marketing. He was also named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll during his time in Athens.

In college, Brendon earned All-American honors all four years including first-team honors in 2007 and was named the SEC Freshman of the Year in 2004. The Bulldogs won the NCAA Championship in 2005 along with teammates and current pros Chris Kirk and Kevin Kisner.

Professional

Brendon turned pro in 2007. In the 2009 Athens Regional Foundation Classic on the Nationwide Tour, Todd became the first player on the Tour to ace the same hole twice in the same tournament. During the first round at the 157 yard, par-3, 17th hole, Todd’s hole-in-one came with a 7-iron, then during round two the ace came with an 8-iron from 147 yards.

In 2013 Brendon played in 10 PGA Tour events and had five Top 25 finishes which allowed him to finish the year in 145th place in the FedEx standings. Brendon also finished last year making the cut in 9 of 10 Web.com Tour starts and had one win (Stadion Classic at UGA) and a T2 (Web.com Tour Championship) while earning his PGA TOUR card for 2014.

2014 PGA Tour Season

Mr. Todd finished the season ranks 27th in FedEx Cup points and earned $3.4MM since the new wraparound season began in October. Brendon had a bogey-free Sunday on the final day to win the HP Byron Nelson Championship. He shot rounds of 68, 64, 68 and 66 for a total of 266 in route to the title. The victory gains him a PGA Tour exemption through the 2015-16 season and a spot next year in the Masters. Mr. Todd also finished tied for 6th at the Humana Challenge, tied for 6th at the Valero Texas Open, tied for 5th at the Crowne Plaza Invitational, tied for 8th at the Memorial, tied for 5th at the Quicken Loans National and tied for 4th at the Greenbrier. Brendon finished the season with a T17 at the Tour Championship carding a final round best of 66.

2015 PGA Tour Season

He has made the cut in 18 of 22 events he has entered this season and has four Top 10 finishes. Brendon ranks 3rd in total putting and is 9th in driving accuracy on the PGA Tour.
